A message from Media Hype Cre8tive's president:

Welcome to Media Hype Cre8tive. My name is Max and I started my visual design career in 1991 or so with an Amiga 2000 computer and Video Toaster software. Back then I did a lot of video production and a little desktop publishing. Over the years I've worked in the film and video business, the graphic design business, for ad agencies, schools, corporate and medical fields and most recently with Open Source at Virtuas Open Source Solutions where Matt Raible turned me on to CMS tools like the one you are looking at now: Joomla!

I've previously developed sites using Drupal and wanted to take Joomla! out for a spin. Also in hand I have a copy of "Building Web Sites with Joomla!" by Hagen Graf that Raible gave me, not only as a resource but to review. That's the least I could do for all the assistance he's given me. Anyway, if you are new to CMS tools, personally I think you'll find Joomla extremely user friendly.

I've surrounded myself with the most talented people I could find, who are willing to put up with me and have created ( so far ) two companies with specialized focus on two area's. There is Timberline Group New Media, which I launched in 2004 - that specializes in adventure and outdoor sports related businesses. See a need, fill a need. We are a Colorado company and myself, I am an avid four-wheeler. Outfitters, Hunting and fishing specialty stores, parts and suppliers tend to be mom & pop run, or small businesses. While we can certainly handle the big clients, we wanted to offer the same services to the little guy as well. We see them on their trail, or out on the lake fishing, the least we could do was offer our services. We've also had corporate side for many years. Media Hype Cre8tive has always been about the creative first, the film making, art, animation and production.

Once we moved up from Denver to the small town of Bailey I decided to offer all of my services to local businesses and utilized all the tools I use for Timberline Group along with Open Source application and so 285 Creative was born. Named after the highway that runs through Bailey, Conifer and several other small towns. 285 Creative is a full service branding, marketing and design agency with a professional fortune 500 touch. The goal is to make 285 available as a creative department for small to mid-sized companies.

And once all that gets rolling and humming along, we'll get back to our true creative selves here. Script writing, claymation and animation, music and general mayhem and silliness.
